Dayln Girard
Dayln Girard is a 21-year-old filmmaker from Fort McMurray, Alberta. He has been making movies from the age of eleven; first editing his pieces in-camera as he filmed them, then teaching himself how to use editing software at a young age.
He believes strongly in the power of Social Media, and uses it on a daily basis to share ideas and connect with others. He now offers his Social Media, and WordPress Web Design services to businesses in order to help bring their companies to the surface of the online world.
With two years of education from Vancouver Film School, he has a wealth of experience as a camera operator, cinematographer, and editor. He graduated from the Visual Art and Design program in April 2011 and Film Production in April 2012, he is excited to begin his career in the film industry, and would like to work as part of a camera team.
In his Visual Art and Design year at VFS he learned much about everything from Photography and Photo Editing, to Life Drawing to Graphic Design. He also learned to work well in teams for several short films and group projects.
